747 Engine Maintenance Dock 

The 747 Engine Maintenance Dock is compatible with the following 747 aircraft: The 747-100 series, and the 747-400 series.

The 747 Engine Maintenance Dock may be used to service #1 Engines and  #4 Engines. The Boeing 747 is one of the most easily recognized commercial aircraft in the world. Its sheer size place this aircraft into a class by itself. Maintenance on the engines of this wide-body aircraft are crucial, and Fabrication Authorities International is  proud to offer a solution for your mechanics to minimize turnaround time while placing emphasis on safety, speed, and efficiency.

Features:

This Engine Maintenance Stand provides an extensive work area around, above, and below the outer engine. There is room to open cowling doors and to access the pylon area. Sliding deck planks can be extended all around the engine to provide a safe working space where needed.

The low level platform nests underneath the engine while in the dock, providing a large work area for maintenance work with enough room to open cowling doors. A 24"W stepladder leads to this large 8' x 11' lower work platform, allowing plenty of room for oil changes. Air and power services can be added to the stands as needed.

Utilizing our Engine Maintenance Dock, your aircraft mechanics can make engine inspection and repair a quicker, more efficient process.  With today's high rate of labor costs, these units will save valuable shop time and literally pay for themselves! Tested and operational, the Engine Maintenance Dock is often used to access other difficult areas, such as above the wing. 

We offer options on all of our aircraft maintenance stands. Optional foam filled pneumatic tire or heavy-duty castors are available. Tool trays, electric/hydraulic options, and many others ensure maintenance is quick and easy without damaging the aircraft.

The stand is designed and tested in accordance with OSHA & ANSI standards and regulations.
