U Design Crossover Ladders
The U Design line of products was developed to meet the needs of individual customers. Its modular design allows for custom functionality to a variety of applications. Proper ladder selection is integral in the assurance of a safe work environment, to which these products meet ANSI and OSHA standards.

U Design Crossover Ladders
Our U Design Crossovers allow for amazing flexibility and thousands of possible configurations! These customizable platforms were developed as a unique and innovative way to more effectively and efficiently identify, select and then purchase the most suitable ladder model for your climbing and access needs, while receiving a custom solution at an off-the-shelf price.

A crossover platform allows a person to safely walk over an obstacle or hazardous area instead of having to go around or through it. Crossovers can increase productivity as well as safety by improving access to hard-to-reach areas. You can select the parts needed to create your own specially configured U-Design crossover by following the steps below:
STEP 1: Select the ladders by height and incline
Choose the right ladders by determining your required height clearance, then select the ladder that has a greater clearance height from the table below. U-Design also offers ladders in 3 different inclines to accommodate available floor spaces.

STEP 2: Select the bridge span platforms
The size of the bridge span platforms will depend on the obstruction's clearance length. We offer a 20” and 30” models of bridge spans that can be repeated or combined to create spans up to 90” long. Choose the combination of spans to exceed your required clearance width. Clearance height is 2” below platform height. Leg kit required for spans greater than 90” in length.

STEP 4: Choose your leg height
When designing a crossover longer than 90" or when ordering more than 3 span bridges, legs are required to provide support. Used for all 6 step height crossover configurations. Powder coated yellow finish.
